THE MAN accused of shooting his estranged wife to death at a Brooklyn family reunion has settled a federal lawsuit with the city for $165,000 — but he won’t see a dime of it, city officials said Wednesday.

Gabino Genao, 30, is jailed for allegedly killing his wife, Iveliss Alvarado-Genao on May 26.

His lawyers, settled with the city under the stipulation that half the money goes to AlvaradoGenao’s two daughters.

The rest of the money will go to Genao’s daughter from another relationship, officials said.

The city controller’s office signed off on the settlement deal this week. “The city settled this litigation on the express condition that the children receive all the proceeds from the settlement, a fair resolution that takes into account the unique circumstances of this case,” said city Law Department spokesman Nick Paolucci.

In the suit, Genao claimed he suffered a brutal beatdown at the hands of three correction officers on Rikers Island during Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

The attack sparked a Department of Investigation probe into the Department of Correction.

Alvarado-Genao’s family hailed the decision, happy that the 30-year-old’s children — 10-year-old Yariliss and 5-yearold Kyliss — receive some measure of justice.
