Make Athens great again

-

That America-basher Bill Shakespeare is back again in Central Park. After besmirching the President and staging his assassination in his anti-Trump “Julius Caesar,” this radical polemicist Shakespeare guy is putting on another political hit job starting Tuesday night called “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

We got hold of the script and it looks pretty damning. First off, it’s produced by The Public Theater, which sounds very Communist, and they suspiciously give away all the tickets for free.

It also looks like this Shakespeare may be an illegal immigrant, since he was born overseas and we see no proof that he ever came here legally. Based on his strange vocabulary and cliche phrases, like “Lord, what fools these mortals be!” we are not sure if he even speaks English.

The partisan slant is obvious in the opening lines about the Queen of the Amazons. Aha! Amazon! See, there it is: Jeff Bezos and his fake news Washington Post are behind it.

The story centers on Puck (some Canadian hockey type?) tricking good Americans into falling in love with the wrong people. Very subversive stuff, even without mentioning Puck’s boss, the King of the Fairies and a Fairy Queen with hints of bestiality. Disgusting!

There’s a character impolitely named Bottom who is turned into a Democrat donkey, giving valuable advertising to that party. Unfair.

Equal time demands an elephant onstage. It figures the radical City Council banned them.
