BALDWIN’S ‘YUGE’ NEWS,

-

ALEC BALDWIN WILL quit playing the President when Donald Trump gives up the role. Passengers on a recent flight traveling from LAX to JFK got to see the “30 Rock” star play the part of busy dad, then heard him commit to four more years of impersonating President Trump.

“Alec, his wife and their kids were coming from L.A. to New York and one of the kids rushed down the aisle,” according to a passenger on that flight. We’re told that Baldwin sprang into action, scooped up the tot and briefly stopped to chat with a fellow passenger who “thanked” him for the spot-on Trump impersonation he did on “Saturday Night Live” last season.

Then, much to the pleasure of our spy in the sky, Baldwin said there’s more to come.

“Alec said, ‘Don’t you worry, not only am I coming back, but as long as Trump is President, I’m going to be playing Trump,” we’re told.

Which Baldwin child made the run down the aisle that started the conversation is unclear. Alec and Hilaria have a 3-year-old daughter named Carmen, a 2-year-old son named Rafael (inset) and another son named Leonardo Angel Charles, who’s 9 months old.

Baldwin’s brilliant Trump impersonation has been a huge ratings booster for NBC this year, though he hinted to British press this spring that another season of doing the Donald might not be on his fall calendar.

“If everything stays the same in the country as it is now, I don’t think people will be in the mood to laugh about it come September,” he said. Then on June 28, the 59-yearold Amityville, L.I., native told CNN that he planned to revisit the role for “SNL” next season in a limited capacity, but not as a “whole meal.” The star’s inflight comments give fans further food for thought.

Baldwin fans who wait for the new season of “SNL” can see the actor in “Blind” co-starring Demi

Moore, which opens Friday.
