Charity gets all the moolah from Zsa Zsa
HOLLYWOOD STAR Zsa Zsa Garbor, who died at 99 last December, has left her fortune to her husband, Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt, he says — even though her will cannot be found.
Anhalt, the ninth and last of Gabor’s spouses, was named the only trustee of her huge fortune in court and he has revealed most of the cash will be handed to charity.
Court documents claim Gabor’s original will is lost or missing, and Anhalt says Gabor’s late daughter Constance Hilton is the one who stole it.
Hilton “had access and attempted to defraud third parties with a forged will,” says Anhalt’s petition, filed in a Los Angeles court.
The Hungarian-born star (inset) had Constance with her ex-husband, hotel magnate Conrad Hilton. Francesca died of a stroke at 67 in 2015.
Anhalt, 74, says he’ll comply with Zsa Zsa’s final wishes for him to hand much of her wealth to good causes and will continue attending Hollywood events “in her honor.”
“Well, there is one thing she loved, charity and to help the needy
people,” he told the Daily News. “So I will do the same thing. I will do that every year. I will do it again. Whatever she left me, I will give lots of charity because she wanted me to do that.”
Gabor reportedly lost most of what was once estimated to be a $40 million fortune. She had been hit with medical bills and lost investments in Bernard
Madoff’s scam. German-born businessman Anhalt, who gained his princely title by adoption when he was an adult, says the glamorous Gabor wanted people to remember her in her prime — appearing on talk shows and in movies like “Moulin Rouge” — and not how she looked at the end.
“We had been married 30 years and been together 35, so we were really glued together and she was my best friend, my partner and it was big love. I miss her a lot,” he said.
Gabor’s marriages included one that lasted a day and was annulled.
