WILD NIGHT IN DA CLUB – CONFIDENTIAL:

-

HIPHOP hitmaker 50 Cent partied like it was his birthday, despite a strange night in da club. The rapper, actor and former Confidential guest editor (photo) belatedly celebrated his 42nd birthday — which was on July 6 — at Club Lust in Sunset Park in Brooklyn over the weekend. That’s where one overly enthusiastic fan tried to steal the show on three separate occasions. Fitty and his entourage arrived at Club Lust around 1 a.m. on Sunday and were whisked in through a back door after noticing a crowd outside the main entrance. Everything was fine as the group made their way to a private bar in the back of the joint, where fans, including a “Haitian guy in his early to mid-40s,” who’d been waiting for Fitty since 8 p.m. on Saturday, pleaded to be photographed with the birthday boy. “This guy said he flew in from Haiti because he wanted to meet 50 to take a picture with him,” says one club insider. We’re told that 50 Cent was amused by the guy and agreed to a photo — then the fan dropped to his knees clinging to the rapper’s legs.

“He was like a pit bull,” laughs our source. “He wouldn’t let go.” It gets stranger.

Steve Stanulis — a pal of Fitty’s who famously worked as Kanye West’s bodyguard before being very publicly dismissed last year — was among the first responders to pry the Fitty fanatic loose. The “Candy Shop” rapper and his pals laughed off the incident and went about their partying, which included watching the rap star throw “$10,000 to $15,000” in cash into the crowd.

Just before 3 a.m., club operators surprised 50 Cent with a birthday cake, which he jumped onto the stage to accept. But out of nowhere, the Haitian guy came charging forward, screaming repeatedly, “Fifty is my father!” before again being restrained by security. This time, the nut was tossed from the club.

And when 50 Cent left the party at 4 a.m., the fanatic was waiting outside for him. We’re told that club security, along with Fitty’s personal crew, made sure the rapper got into his car safely.

Reps for 50 declined to comment.
