JUDGE NOT PRESSING

-

bullpen some much-needed help. The 32-year-old righty has posted a 2.70 ERA with a 0.960 WHIP in 33.1 innings this year.

In 30 games, he has converted 13 of 14 save opportunities with a 4-2 record.

After seven seasons in pinstripes, Robertson signed a four-year, $48 million deal with the White Sox before the 2015 season, which owes him $13 million in 2018.

In addition to the bullpen, the Yankees have had their focus on first base, which is a position Frazier would not necessarily fill. The 31-year-old has played only 94 career games at the position (four this season), and the team hasn’t expressed a strong desire to add a third baseman, according to the report.

Frazier, a native of Toms River, N.J., is currently making $13 million in the final year of his contract. Though the righty could give the Yankees a boost at either corner infield position, he has struggled at the plate, posting a .207 batting average and .761 OPS with 16 homers and 44 RBI.

The Red Sox recently designated for assignment Pablo Sandoval and have a hole at the hot corner. Fox Sports reported Saturday that it “seems almost inevitable” the Red Sox will land Frazier.

Girardi said Aaron Judge hasn't been pressing despite his 1-for-21 start to the second half.

“I just think he’s been a little off,” Girardi said. “You worry if guys really press and they’re not able to turn the page, but I haven't seen that from him.

“He continues to have that smile on his face and play loose. I haven’t seen him press.”
