SHOCKING!

Burglars broke into a Brooklyn e-bike store and made off with seven of the pricey electricpowered bicycles, police said Saturday.

Thieves snapped the lock to Fly e-Bike on Wyckoff Ave. near Grove St. in Bushwick sometime before 1 a.m. on Thursday.

The owner told police that when he showed up at his store a few hours later, he found the lock broken and door open. Seven ebikes and scooters valued at $10,000 had been taken. Cops have made no arrests. “We don’t know anything yet,” the owner, who declined to give his name, told the Daily News on Saturday. “We’re still open.”

E-bikes, powered by both pedals and small electric motors, are popular among city delivery workers but can’t be registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles, making them illegal to use in the city. Cops have been ordered to stop and seize them.
