In an interview with the Daily Beast on Thursday, Bateman certainly left the door open for the next season of “Arrested Development” to have a Trumpian slant.
“I have no idea what’s ahead,” he admitted to the website. “We start shooting in two weeks and I keep checking my phone for the first script.”
In his new show “Ozark,” which Bateman directs and stars in, he plays a financial planner from Chicago who gets in trouble with a Mexican drug lord and moves his family to the Ozarks. That dark drama, which launched Friday, also centers around a family with issues.
