Tot mowed down by cab

A CAB DRIVER fatally struck a 14-month-old boy in Rockland County while backing out of the driveway of the tot’s home Sunday afternoon, police said.

The 41-year-old cabbie struck the boy with his 2015 Toyota Prius just before 5 p.m. in the hamlet of Monsey, Ramapo police said.

The driver had just picked up a fare when he struck the boy.

A Hatzolah ambulance took the boy to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, where he died.

The cab driver stayed on the scene and faced no immediate charges, cops said.

The victim’s name was not immediately released.
