Trump Tower guy slapped for air gun in car
A WORKER at Trump Tower was caught with a BB gun that looked like a Glock in the trunk of his car Saturday, police sources said.
Carlos Febies, 44, of Bristol, Conn., is a subcontractor who was scheduled to work on the refrigeration system in the gilded Fifth Ave. skyscraper where President Trump maintains his private residence.
Febies was taken into custody when a routine screening turned up the BB gun, sources said.
Patrol cops and members of the NYPD’s Intelligence Bureau interviewed Febies, who said he was driving his son’s car and didn’t know about the BB gun, sources said. He was issued a Criminal Court summons for possession of an air pistol and released, sources said.
