W. Side rat rampage

AN UPPER West Side pol says her district has been overrun by rats and is demanding the city and state do something about it.

Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal, a Democrat, said her constituents have “all but given up” on using parks in her neighborhood because of the rodents. “Anyone who’s familiar with the Upper West Side knows the area is overrun with rats,” she said.

City Hall rep Olivia Lapeyrolerie said, “We are committed to reducing rat activity in New York City.”
