Todd Bowles described the Jets’ kicking competition between Ross Martin and Chandler Catanzaro as “close.”

“They’ve been going at it since the spring, so it’s give-and-take,” Bowles said. “We’ll see who shows up when the lights come on, but it’s pretty close right now.”

Each kicker went 5-for-6 on Wednesday, with Catanzaro missing from 49 yards and Martin missing from 59 yards.
