O’Reilly slithers back to ‘news’

OUSTED Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly has returned to the small screen, at least on computers, with an experimental video show.

A half-hour “No Spin News” show available to premium subscribers was posted online Wednesday night, and made available to the rest of the world on Thursday.

O’Reilly’s run as the flagship host of Fox News came to an end in April as he was engulfed in a scandal over claims of sexual harassment.

The talking head denied any wrongdoing, though his departure came after it was revealed he and Fox paid five women $13 million in order to settle their suits.

O’Reilly (photo) began a podcast shortly after his firing, though this week marked his return to video.

Like much of the rest of the country, the anchor discussed President Trump and North Korea trading threats. “North Korea has been a pain in the butt for decades,” he said, adding that Trump is “not going to take any guff from North Korea.”

Other topics included the FBI raid on the home of Trump’s former campaign head Paul Manafort, a target in the ongoing Russian election meddling investigation.

O’Reilly also brought up his desire to appear on Fox-rival CNN, telling that network’s Michael Smerconish that he would plug his new book there next month.
