BUTTER FINGERS
The receivers left on the Jets roster have not exactly instilled confidence in fans and their teammates after top gun Quincy Enunwa was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
The Jets dropped seven passes in 11-on-11 drills on Tuesday, two on Wednesday and four on Thursday.
Myles White (16 career receptions) has been particularly lackluster. He dropped three passes in 11-on-11 Tuesday and dropped another in team drills on Thursday. He also dropped three passes in individual drills Thursday with no defenders on the field.
“Concentration. Trying too hard,” Bowles said of the receivers’ poor hands. “Just got to focus.”
Are they putting too much pressure on themselves?
“No,” Bowles said. “It’s the same opportunity they had before anybody got hurt. So they just had a bad day.”
