City girds for traffic mess in Prez visit

- BY GREG B. SMITH and DENIS SLATTERY

PRESIDENT TRUMP is ready to wreak havoc — on Manhattan.

Trump acknowledged Friday that his upcoming three-night stay in the Big Apple is going to be nothing but a headache for his fellow New Yorkers.

“I stay out of Manhattan because it’s so disruptive to go to Manhattan,” he said. “Whenever a President came in, it was very disruptive. And I think I’m probably more disruptive than any of ’em.”

The President will arrive at Trump Tower on Sunday, fly to D.C. and back on Monday, and debark for his Bedminster, N.J., golf resort Wednesday.

The NYPD warned of “significant delays and heavy congestion” in the area, with parts of 55th and 58th Sts. closed for the duration of the visit, along with some “restrictions” on Fifth Ave.

Mayor de Blasio said the NYPD is prepared for gridlock, but cautioned New Yorkers to simply stay away from the neighborhood until Trump skedaddles.

“Don’t drive on Fifth Ave. in that part of Midtown,” de Blasio said on WNYC Friday. “Everything will be under control, but avoid that part of Fifth Ave. — for your own sanity.”

Despite his habit of spending weekends away from the White House, Trump hasn’t stayed at his gilded Fifth Ave. penthouse home since his inauguration.
