PLAZA TWEETS AT HER OWN PLEASURE
plays a social media stalker in “Ingrid Goes West,” but don’t expect her to tweet about her personal life.
“I’m not interested in allowing people to have access into my life,” the star (above) explained at a screening of her new film. “I’m a really private person. I’d rather not let people in too much, because I’m not really like that.”
Luckily, she hasn’t had been confronted on social media by someone like her character.
“I feel like my social media presence is very much about my work and sharing the projects that I have. So I think that the people that follow me are just people that are cool and excited, and I’m lucky that I haven’t had any weird interactions.”
She did feel the need to be open and honest about her bisexuality with her fans.
“That wasn’t me trying to make any sort of political statement. I just try to be honest. And I just try to be myself, for better or for worse.”
