The veteran underwent ankle surgery a few weeks ago and is on the physically unable to perform list, but he looked his strongest yet on the side Sunday running and catching passes ... McAdoo also said linebacker J.T. Thomas, on the PUP with a knee injury, is “getting close.” Thomas continued working on the side … Also working on the side were receiver Tavarres King (ankle), safety Duke Ihenacho (hamstring), defensive tackle Robert Thomas (soreness), safety Ryan Murphy (lower body) and receiver Kevin Snead (lower body).
