POTTY HUMOR
Acould have been mistaken for the at this weekend’s East Hampton Library Authors Night. We’re told that Baldwin (inset) and wife both pushing new books, looked svelte, and he was at peace with the universe.
“For someone who has such a rambunctious reputation, he sat there and signed his books and talked to everyone,” said one event attendee who got to spend a lot of time with Baldwin, 59. According to that bookworm, Baldwin has lost 15 pounds, which he credits largely to a vegetarian diet. It doesn’t sound like the weight loss was due to strenuous workout sessions.
“He said his favorite thing to do is nothing,” we’re told. “He said he loves going out on a boat with his kids and escaping the crowds.”
According to that insider, who has met the Baldwins on multiple occasions, “He’s different since the kids.” Alec and Hilaria, 33, have a 3-year-old daughter, a 2-year-old son and a 1-year-old son.
Baldwin says his new book, “Nevertheless,” which he was promoting at the event, is plugged as a memoir, but it gave him the opportunity to talk about people who’ve meant something to him.

— and we’re told. Baldwin also confirmed to our insider that it’s true that the $15 million he made for filming Capitol One commercials over a five-year stretch ending in 2014 was all gone.
“I gave that money away,” he said. “It went into the (Alec Baldwin) foundation.” Seated alongside the “30 Rock” star was Hilaria, who signed copies of her book “The Living Clearly Method: 5 Principles for a Fit Body, Healthy Mind & Joyful Life” and chatted about food and fitness with well-wishers.
Also at the starstudded event were authors and entertainers and Broadway’s “A Doll’s House, Part 2” is about gender quality — onstage and off. Ask Tonywinner (inset) and others stalled, preshow, in a line for the ladies’ room. No one waited outside the men’s room, a source tells us. “A theater matron said, ‘I am announcing the men’s room is gender-neutral.’ ” Inside neutral territory, an impromptu comedy arose, added our observer. “Someone asked, ‘Why is the line for the men’s room always the short one?’ and a man replied, ‘It’s not at ‘Hello, Dolly!’ ”
