Teen back home after choke bust

- Rahima Nasa and Leonard Greene

THE HIGH school football player charged in the death of his mother’s abusive ex-boyfriend returned with her Wednesday to the scene of the killing — even though debate still raged over whether he did anything wrong. A day earlier, supporters of Luis Moux, 18, including his school principal, stood in his corner as he was arraigned on manslaughter charges in Bronx Criminal Court. Moux is accused of choking to death Stanley Washington, 43, while coming to his mother’s defense early Monday in their Bronx apartment.

“I’m happy to see my son again,” Moux’s mom, Lorena Sesma (photo with the teen), 37, said at their University Heights, apartment.

A makeshift tribute to Washington grew outside his Bronx home, where friends and relatives placed candles and flowers to spell out his name. A friend said the dead man’s name is being sullied in his death.

“The mother is painting Stan out to be an animal, but that’s not the case,” the pal said. “He took care of that kid while his own father was locked up.”

Moux is a student at Progress High School for Professional Careers in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
