$510M Powerball

- Noah Goldberg

THE POWERBALL jackpot soared to $510 million Thursday, and there are just as many ideas about what to do with the money.

Instead of slinging sandwiches at the Mini Market Deli on Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Ahmed Shayef, 18, would like to cash in a winning Powerball ticket and just buy the building.

“The whole building,” Shayef said. “I’d get into real estate, that's what I want to do.”

The jackpot has a cash option of $324.2 million, making it the eighth-largest prize in U.S. lottery history.
