Driver hits biker, runs in Qns.

A HIT-AND-RUN driver struck and critically injured a bicyclist in Queens, police said Friday.

The Mercedes driver was speeding on 36th Ave. when he slammed into 59-year-old Lorenzo Anderson near 12th St. in Astoria at 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, cops said.

The motorist turned onto 11th St., stopped the car, jumped out and ran, police said.

He left behind his passenger, who cops took into custody for questionin­g.

Medics rushed Anderson to Mount Sinai Queens Hospital in critical condition.

Anderson was about a mile away from his home when he was said.

“It broke my heart when I saw him in that hospital bed,” said his wife, Tracy Anderson-Paris, 48.

“My husband is the most beautiful man, always thinking of others. I’m devastated.” hit, police
