HOW ABOUT KAP?

-

Joe Flacco (back) and (shoulder) have still not practiced this summer. Baltimore’s backup is Ryan Mallett and Indy’s backup is Scott Tolzien. Meanwhile, Colin Kaepernick continues to be unemployed. By no means is Kaepernick an elite QB, but come on, the Ravens and Colts have no chance to win if Mallett and Tolzien have to play. Flacco is expected back at practice before the final preseason game but won’t play until the season opener. Luck is on the PUP list after shoulder surgery and there is no timetable yet for his return. Luck has gotten banged up in his first five years. The Colts have failed to build a strong line in front of him. And now center Ryan Kelly, a No. 1 pick in 2016 and Indy’s best offensive lineman, needs surgery to require a broken foot injured in practice. He’s likely headed to injured reserve with a chance to return this season.
