‘Hit’ at the box office

“THE HITMAN’S Bodyguard” stole the weekend from the heist flick “Logan Lucky” in what had shaped up to be a battle of action comedies.

“Bodyguard,” starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds, raked in $21.6 million, easily beating “Logan,” the Steven Soderbergh-directed caper movie that only made $8.1 million, good for third place.

Coming in second was supernatural thriller “Annabelle: Creation,” with $15.5 million.
