IMPEACH BETWEEN lines.

A science envoy for the State Department resigned from his post Wednesday with a public letter secretly spelling out the word “impeach.”

Daniel Kammen, a professor of energy at the University of California, Berkeley, posted his letter on Twitter and blamed his resignatio­n on Trump’s response to the Charlottes­ville, Va., hate rally.

“My decision to resign is in response to your attacks on core values of the United States,” Kammen wrote.

But Kammen’s biggest message was hidden in the first letters of every paragraph, which spelled out: “I-M-P-E-A-C-H.”

Kammen said in the letter that he has served the State Department, Energy Department and Environmen­tal Protection Agency since 1996.

Trump’s controvers­ial response to the Charlottes­ville rally, which saw him likening the neo-Nazi and white supremacis­t marchers to their counterpro­testers, led to a mass exodus of experts serving as presidenti­al advisers.

Every member of Trump’s national arts committee resigned in protest — and their resignatio­n letter included a similar secret message to Kammen’s. The first letters in the note’s paragraphs spelled out “resist.” the
