Melo left out of Knick picture
It looks like the Knicks have already moved on from Carmelo Anthony — even if he’s still on the roster.
When the team made their full season ticket plan available to purchase on Thursday night, they teased the announcement on social media with a photo of three players: Kristaps Porzingis, Frank Ntilikina and Willy Hernangomez.
Anthony’s face was nowhere to be found on the Knicks’ Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages. It’s no secret that the Knicks have tossed around the idea of trading Anthony.
However, this move shows the franchise is going to market their younger players going forward, whether Anthony remains on the team or not. —Nicholas Parco
BIRD, CASTRO CLOSE
The Yankees got some good news on Thursday, as Greg Bird and Starlin Castro delivered back-to-back homers for TripleA Scranton, with both of their returns seemingly imminent.
“Anything is possible,” Joe Girardi responded when asked if Bird or Castro could return Friday against the Mariners at Yankee Stadium. “You very well could see someone (Friday).”
Bird (ankle) and Castro (hamstring) have been doing minor-league rehab stints with the RailRiders.
The team has said recently that Bird is further along than Castro, so Bird would seem to be the favorite to be called back up if it’s just one player for now. —Mike Mazzeo
SALE GETS SOCKED

Curtis Granderson hit his 22nd home run.
