THE CREEP who choked and molested a 74-year-old woman outside her Bronx apartment has been identified, authorities said Saturday.

Joshua McCallum is suspected of attacking the woman in her building in Morrisania about 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 18, according to police.

McCallum, 23, followed the woman to her door, where he put her in a chokehold and groped her, cops said.

The victim banged on a neighbor’s door and McCallum took off. Cops released his photo (inset) Saturday in hopes of tracking him down. THERE’S NOTHING jinxed about this cat’s happy ending.

A car-loving kitten who was found inside the engine of a vehicle in Tribeca a few months ago has been adopted by her rescuers — and now has a big cat sister named Cher.

The 4-month-old kitten, now known as Jinxie, is a bundle of energy, said her adopter, Frank Aikens.

“She’s been a amazing addition to our family,” Aikens told the Daily News.

He and his partner Mary O’Neill helped save Jinxie in July when passersby heard her desperate meows from under the hood of a parked car.

It took three hours, but Jinxie was finally freed.

The whole time, Aikens said, his partner was telling him they were going to adopt the kitten as soon as she was rescued.

“Mary, who’s an interior designer, said if the cat comes out and matches the apartment, we’ll keep it,” Aikens said.

“And the cat comes out and it turns out she matches the apartment,” he laughed.

Jinxie quickly made herself at home with the couple — and has also ingratiated herself with the family’s longtime pet, 16-year-old Cher.

On the day of the adoption, Aikens and O’Neill popped some champagne with some of the other rescuers who had stopped in July to help free the trapped kitten.

“There was so many people that came by ... There was a UPS guy, there was an electrician, a doorman, a superintendant,” said Aikens.

“We had all these people coming by trying to get the cat out. And we kinda like made a lot of friends doing it,” he said.

The couple chose Jinxie as a name because they remembered it from the movie “Meet the Parents.”

In the film, Jinxie is the pet of retired CIA agent Jack Byrnes, played by Robert De Niro.

As it turned out, the car that the reallife Jinxie got stuck in was an official vehicle used by a federal agency, Aikens said.

“It’s a stretch, I know!” he said. “We just started calling her Jinxie.”
