First-round pick Evan Engram stood out as both a receiver and a blocker. He caught two passes for 32 yards, including a stunning route that nearly broke a Jets DB’s ankles. Then Engram made a big block to open a hole for Orleans Darkwa’s 1-yard first quarter touchdown, the Giants’ first offensive TD of the preseason. FB Shane Smith also made a strong block on the play.
