1, in hospital with bad burns
COPS AND firefighters rushed to a Brooklyn apartment Sunday afternoon after getting a report that a 1-yearold girl was badly burned by hot tea, police said.
Medics arrived at the tot’s apartment on Bradford St. by Riverdale Ave. in East New York about 4:10 p.m.
They took the child to New York-Presbyterian Hospital with serious burns, an FDNY spokeswoman said.
One neighbor, who didn’t give her name, said she saw the baby wheeled out on a stretcher, but didn’t see the extent of the burns.
“I was like, what the hell is going on?” the neighbor said. “She looked fine to me . ... The baby was crying a lot.”
