Swift record for Taylor’s new vid

TAYLOR SWIFT’S edgy new song “Look What You Made Me Do” is already a record-breaking hit.

The single — which Swift released Thursday night — racked up 10.129 million streams during its first 24 hours on Spotify, setting records for the most first-day streams on the service and the most streams in a single day.

The total blew past the previous first-day record set in January by Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” which had 7.9 million Spotify streams. His song also set the overall single-day record in March, with 10.123 million streams.

The video of “Look What You Made Me Do,” which premiered Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards, is expected to set a record for views in one day with about 30 million. Adele’s “Hello” set the record in October 2015 with 27.7 million one-day views.
