B’way Bandit charged
THE BROADWAY Bandit’s new venue is a federal jail.
Jamie Frierson was held without bail Thursday after being charged with robbing an Upper West Side bank. The teller handed him $8,050, the feds charge.
Frierson faces one federal bank robbery count for the holdup Tuesday afternoon at the Bank of America at Broadway and W. 72nd St.
The 47-year-old, whose face was clearly captured on surveillance videos, is a suspect in six other bank heists during an Aug. 16-29 spree, a criminal complaint shows.
