$25OM hoop suit vs. Cube

- Shayna Jacobs

IT WAS NOT A good day for Ice Cube.

The rapper was slapped with a $250 million lawsuit on Friday for allegedly poaching hoops stars — and ideas — from a basketball league featuring retired NBA players.

The founder of the Champion Basketball League, Carl George, says Ice Cube (photo), whose real name is O’Shea Jackson and his business partner, entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz, got close to CBL brass after it’s 2014 launch to steal their concept, according to paperwork filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.

George alleges that the “Friday” star started his own 3-on- 3 venture, called BIG3 and stole CBL players. Ice Cube's reps and attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
