(football, basketball, track) Started 44 of 47 games in last three seasons Seattle QB Russell Wilson once said after Kearse scored twice in Seattle’s playoff loss to Carolina two seasons ago, he’s “as clutch as it gets.” 2015 season — 49 Rec, 685 yards and 5 TDs In 2015, Kearse had a WR rating (the rating a quarterback has when throwing to a particular receiver) of 126.1, fourth among receivers with at least 48 targets. In 2014, Kearse sealed the NFC championship with the 35-yard TD catch in overtime against the Packers. Were it not for Malcolm Butler’s goalline pick in Super Bowl XLIX, we may still be talking about the insane juggling catch Kearse made just a few plays earlier. The catch was reminiscent of David Tyree’s helmet catch to help beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. While falling to the ground, Kearse beat Butler, corralling a 33-yarder from Russell Wilson that deflected off his finger tips and leg to set the Seahawks up for a potential game-winning TD. But Butler ended up with the play of the game.
