Cops seek would-be kidnapper

- Thomas Tracy

HERE’S ONE creep you can’t miss.

Police on Saturday released a sketch of a man with a heavily tattooed face they say tried to snatch a 12-year-old girl off a Queens street. The suspect (inset), whose many tattoos include a cross on his forehead and a Playboy bunny on his neck, tried to grab the child as she walked trough a Key Food parking lot with her mom on Jamaica Ave. near Hempstead Ave. in Queens Village about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, cops said.

“You’re coming with me!” the man screamed in Spanish as he tried to pull the girl away from her mother, according to police.

The stunned mom held onto her daughter and tugged her out of the stranger’s clutches, cops said.

The would-be kidnapper was last seen running down Jamaica Ave. toward 212th St.

The tattooed suspect is described as Hispanic, about 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds with close-cropped hair in braids. He has a scar on his left cheek. He was wearing a red T-shirt and a dark-colored baseball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
