WHEN IT comes to protecting his street cart turf, Mijan Rahman is second to naan.

Indian food peddler Rahman, 32, emerged as the winner Saturday after a brutal food fight where three vendors from competing carts attacked him with a hammer, police said.

Rahman was back in his spot at Broome St. and Broadway in SoHo within hours of the 8:30 a.m. beatdown where the assailants kicked him in the leg, groin and chest.

“I’ve been here for 10 years, every day in this spot,” Rahman told the Daily News.

Peanut cart operators Eduardo Latin-Cisterna, 46, Carlos LopezPizarro, 31, and Marco Vial, 50, were all arrested for gang assault after the attack, police said.

The suspect with the hammer tried to hide the weapon by tossing it into his cart after the attack, police said. Rahman returned to his cart after he was treated at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.

The attackers accused Rahman of stealing a prime sidewalk location near Bloomingdale’s.
