Fiend nabbed in girl-grab try
FACIAL-recognition software helped police track down a would-be kidnapper who tried to snatch a girl off a Queens street, authorities said.
Police on Sunday arrested Vladimir Suero, 38, of Brooklyn, accusing him of trying to grab a 12-year-old girl from her mother in a Key Food parking lot on Jamaica Ave, near Hempstead Ave. in Queens Village on Thursday.
“You’re coming with me!” Suero, who has a cross tattooed on his forehead, barked in Spanish as he tried to pull the girl from her mother, police said.
The mom held on, and Suero ran off, police said.
A day later, Suero got a desk appearance in an unrelated petty larceny case, and that bust helped investigators find him after a sketch and photo of him were released over the weekend. Cops charged Suero with kidnapping, child endangerment and harassment.
