BALTIMORE — No Gary Sanchez. No sleep. No problem.

The Bombers arrived in Baltimore at 3 a.m. on Monday morning before eventually finding out that Sanchez's four-game suspension had been reduced to three and would begin immediately.

Later in the afternoon, they came back from a three-run deficit to defeat the Orioles 7-4 on Labor Day at Camden Yards. Starlin Castro had three hits, including a homer, and three RBI. The Yankees had taken three out of four from the Red Sox over the weekend. The Bombers have lost 11 consecutive series in Baltimore.

The Yanks trail the Red Sox by 2.5 games in the AL East after Boston lost to Toronto, 10-4, Monday.

Castro belted his first homer since June 11 — a two-run shot that put the Yankees ahead 5-3 in the fifth. He added an RBI single to make it 7-3 Bombers in the seventh.

The Yankees trailed 3-0 after Jordan Montgomery surrendered a pair of homers to Tim Beckham (leading off) and Chris Davis (two-run shot in the second). But they rallied back with a three-run fourth against Dylan Bundy, who threw 37 pitches in the frame.

Didi Gregorius highlighted the fourth with a two-run homer — his 20th of the year. He is the first shortstop in Yankees history with back-toback 20-homer campaigns. Jacoby Ellsbury added an RBI single to tie the game at 3-3.

Montgomery was pulled after just 67 pitches when he walked Manny Machado with two outs in the fifth. The 24-year-old rookie, who was inserted in place of Jaime Garcia, allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits. He walked one and struck out four.

David Robertson walked the first two men he faced in the eighth before working out of the jam.

Didi Gregorius used some nifty footwork to complete a 6-6-3 doubleplay on a grounder up the middle from Chris Davis in the fourth inning.

The fourth inning. Starlin Castro (single), Didi Gregorius (tworun homer), Aaron Judge (walk), Todd Frazier (walk) and Jacoby Ellsbury (RBI single) all contributed offensively. Starlin Castro, who has six hits and six RBI in his last two games.

STAT OF THE DAY

Aaron Judge is the first rookie to draw 100 walks since Jim Gilliam in 1953. Judge walked a career-high four times on Monday while also singling.

UNSUNG HERO

Chad Green, who got seven outs out of the bullpen, four via strikeout. Orioles pitchers issued a combined 10 walks. Tonight, 7:05, at Baltimore, CC Sabathia (11-5, 3.71) vs. Jeremy Hellickson (8-8, 5.15); TV: YES
