A MAN accused of killing his wife in their Brooklyn home confessed to his landlord that he committed the crime, police said Wednesday.

“My wife is dead, and I did it,” Desmoulins Loiseau, 56, told his landlord moments after he bashed his wife Marie’s head in during an argument over money at their home on Avenue J in Flatlands on Tuesday, police sources said. Cops charged Loiseau with murder early Wednesday.

Loiseau admitted that he and his 63-year-old wife had a strained relationship and slept in separate rooms. On Tuesday morning, Loiseau went into the bedroom, where his wife was sleeping, to pick up a few personal items. The two started arguing again, but the argument quickly turned physical.

“He grabbed her by the neck and put his fingers in her mouth, and she bit him on the hand,” a police source said. “Then he got angry.”

He left the apartment near New York Ave. about 11 a.m. and confessed to the landlord.
