Farm feud in Soros son’s divorce case

BILLIONAIRE scion Robert Soros has neglected the animals on his Dutchess County farm, turning the pricey property into a pigsty, his estranged wife said Wednesday.

“It’s in a terrible state now. It’s in terrible disrepair. The animals are being cared for terribly because of negligence,” Melissa Soros said on the first day of the couple’s divorce trial in Manhattan.

Beyond the $5.9 million Rhinebeck farm, the couple is battling over a Martha’s Vineyard home, a 10-acre Florida horse farm and a $150 million art collection with works by Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol and Yayoi Kusama, a source told the Daily News.

Melissa Soros said she hopes to eventually be awarded the farm.

“I am asking the court to have Robert pay for the necessary maintenance that the judge has ordered him to pay until the farm is distributed to one of us or sold,” she said.

In opening statements, Robert Soros’ lawyer suggested the only way the sparring spouses might be able to divvy up their modern art collection would be to sell it all.

“If the parties cannot agree on the value of the property, then the property should be divided according to the contract and sold off,” lawyer Alan Feigenbaum said, referring to a prenuptial agreement.
