Crook councilman #1 in absences

CONVICTED ex-City Councilman Ruben Wills kept up his no-show ways to the end.

The often missing-in-action ex-pol was absent from 34 of the 130 meetings he was supposed to be at in the year before he was booted from office, and missed another 17 straight meetings for undisclosed medical reasons.

In all, he wasn’t there for 40% of the sessions he was supposed to attend.

Wills was convicted in July of five counts of corruption, including charges of stealing more than $30,000 in taxpayer money. He was accused of using the money to buy food, clothes, gas and a $750 Louis Vuitton handbag, and automatically lost his seat when he was convicted.

The Queens Democrat, who was indicted in 2014, has had the worst Council attendance record every year since.
