Hold onto something heavy

America holds its breath for our fellow citizens in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and throughout South Florida. All have been battered by, or will soon be battered by, a hurricane of headsnapping strength, close on the heels of the monster storm that left swaths of Texas in ruins. First things first: Hope and pray the Americans, Cubans, Haitians and Dominicans in Irma’s path survive the terrifying surge of wind and water. Then it will be time to survey the damage, and rebuild.
