Mueller eyes Prez’s staff
THE FEDERAL probe into Russian meddling in the presidential election is zeroing in on current and former high profile White House staffers. Period.
Special counsel Robert Mueller has told the Trump administration that his investigators want to speak with former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, former chief of staff Reince Priebus and others in President Trump’s tight orbit of aides, the Washington Post reported Friday.
Mueller is also looking to interview interim communications director Hope Hicks, as well as White House counsel Don McGahn and his deputy James Burnham.
Also on the list is Josh Raffel, who works closely with Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner. All were witness or privy to key moments of interest to the investigation, according to the report.
