Spike Lee’s

1994 classic “Crooklyn” won the city’s “One Film, One New York” competition last week and will screen in park’s citywide on Sept. 13. But the Brooklynbred filmmaker was mum when asked about rumors that he’s a top candidate to direct a spin-off tied to Queens native Peter Parker, better known as “Spider-man.”

“One of my best friends in life, Budd

Schulberg, he wrote ‘On the Waterfront,’ and a famous line said by Terry Malloy, played by Marlon Brando, was ‘I’m just going to be d and d — deaf and dumb,’” Lee laughed. “And that’s my answer.”

One thing Lee did confirm is that he will be in Fort Greene Park when “Crooklyn” screens there Wednesday. Scenes from the film were shot in Fort Greene, where Lee was raised, though he points out that was “pre-gentrified” Fort Greene. He says that his 10-episode Netflix series “She’s Gotta Have It,” which airs Thanksgiving Day, delves into gentrification on New York.

Lee — who is perhaps the world’s most famous Knicks fan — declined to delve into how that troubled team would change next season.

“D and d,” he laughed.
