Bibi’s boy goes full anti-Semite
THE SON OF Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mortified the country’s political leaders — and won the approval of white supremacists — when he posted an anti-Semitic cartoon Sunday on Facebook.
Yair Netanyahu, 26, appeared to post the meme as a sarcastic defense against criticism of his father’s leadership.
The crude cartoon (below) showed billionaire activist George Soros dangling planet Earth in front of a giant lizard figure, a common internet symbol for mysterious figures who run the world from afar.
The lizard, in turn, dangles an illuminati symbol over a stereotypical drawing of a conniving Jewish man.
Soros, a Hungarian-American Jew, is an outspoken critic of Israel.
Yair Netanyahu (below right) captioned the photo in Hebrew as “The food chain,” implying there are nefarious forces secretly orchestrating opposition to his father.
The meme is a variation of an image that circulates on neo-Nazi and white supremacist websites.
The far-right crowd was delighted to see Netanyahu’s son paying it forward. “Netanyahu’s son posts a meme suggesting (((Soros))) is controlling the world: ‘Meme rife with anti-Semitic themes,’” former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke wrote, using a three-parenthesis symbol that white supremacists use online to single out Jews.
The neo-Nazi Daily Stormer website praised Yair Netanyahu as a “total bro” who posted an “awesome meme blaming the Jews for bringing down his Jew father.”
