Keep Hope alive for 3rd Donald flack

-

HOPE HICKS is officially the new White House communications director — the third since President Trump took office eight months ago.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Tuesday Hicks — who had been serving as interim director — has been named to the job permanently.

Unlike predecessors Mike Dubke and Anthony Scaramucci, the 28-year-old media guru has been one of the few people considered untouchable within Trump’s inner circle. She has worked with the real estate family for roughly five years, and has moved up the ranks through its company and on the campaign.

That carried over into the White House, where she joined the press team and earns the top salary available: $179,700.

But she has mostly avoided the spotlight among a team of rivals often at the center of media attention.

The Greenwich, Conn., native and former model is the youngest person to hold the position since it was created in 1969.
