Hard lesson for spray-paint guy

THIS WOULD-BE artist went below the belt — and got belted.

A motorist got roughed up just outside the Lincoln Tunnel on Tuesday morning after he spraypainted a penis on the side of a box truck during a confrontation with its driver, sources said.

The craziness began on the New Jersey side of the tunnel about 9:30 a.m., when the two drivers nearly crashed into each other. They started arguing and kept it up as they rolled through the tunnel.

Once they reached a red light at Dyer Ave. on the New York side, Felix Zeydelis, 34, jumped out of his Toyota Camry and sprayed the phallic portrait onto the truck.

Zeydelis then turned to spraypaint the approaching driver of the GMC box truck, but the driver blocked the paint stream with his hand.

Port Authority police arrived and stopped the ensuing tussle. They charged Zeydelis with criminal mischief and attempted assault.

“Obviously, he had enough time to create a penal code violation,” a law enforcement source quipped. A 60-YEAR-OLD man died Tuesday morning after a box truck smashed into him in the Bronx as he crossed the street, police said.

The pedestrian was crossing Webster Ave. near E. 193rd St. in Fordham Manor about 7:10 a.m., when the truck barreled into him.

He had severe trauma to his body and died at the scene, medics said.

The 59-year-old driver of the truck stayed at the scene.

The NYPD’s collision investigation squad was looking into the incident.

Cops did not immediately release the victim’s name.

The truck driver had the green light and will likely not be charged, according to sources.
