A BRONX landlord wanted for shooting a tenant during a rent squabble surrendered to police on Tuesday, sources said.

Robert (Beenie) Grant, 43, turned himself in after Michael Taylor, 52, was shot in the chest on Amundson Ave., near Pratt Ave. in Edenwald just before 10:40 p.m. Monday.

Taylor is expected to survive, authorities say.

Grant confronted Taylor and his girlfriend when they came home from grocery shopping.

“Excuse me,” Taylor said, but Grant blocked the doorway and demanded rent money. A quarrel erupted and Grant pulled out a black handgun from his right pocket, held it to Taylor’s chest and fired, sources said.

Taylor and Grant tussled before Taylor broke away. Taylor and his girlfriend then drove off to get help.

Taylor is recovering in intensive care.

Grant was charged with attempted murder, assault and weapon possession.
