Teen busted in Bx. bias spray
A BRONX TEENAGER was arrested for spray-painting the word “Jew” on the home of a state prosecutor’s relative, cops said.
Jared Lewis, 16, was busted around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to authorities.
Philip Michael, 77, the father of Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Michael, stepped out of his home in Fieldston to grab the newspaper about 7:30 a.m. Sunday when he spotted the hateful vandalism, police said.
Lewis, of North Riverdale, is charged with criminal mischief as a hate crime. Cops on Monday released surveillance footage of three people of interest connected to the crime. Police have identified Lewis’ two accomplices, but they are not facing immediate charges, sources said. A PARAPROFESSIONAL at a Brooklyn public school is accused of molesting a 5-year-old student.
School staff at Public School 200K in Bath Beach saw Alameldin Abdelrahim, 62, sitting in front of the kindergartner in the school building, with the child’s head touching his groin, cops said. Abdelrahim was sexually aroused, cops said.
Police arrested Abdelrahim at 5 p.m. Thursday, charging him with sexual abuse and child endangerment.
