Teen punks rob cabbie at gunpoint

-

A CASH-STRAPPED, gun-toting teenage couple robbed a cabbie early Friday when they didn’t have a measly $8 to pay for their trip home to the Upper East Side, police sources said.

The terrifying incident left the cab driver — who is studying to be a lawyer— shaken and upset.

“For $8, I would have let you go ... gimme a break ... if you’re gonna pull a gun — you live in a posh area, something’s wrong with those kids,” he said.

The driver, who asked the Daily News to withhold his name, picked up the Bonnie and Clyde wannabes, both 16, on Fifth Ave. between 25th and 26th Sts. just after 1 a.m. When they arrived at Third Ave. and E. 74th St. about 1:30 a.m., near the girl’s home, they realized they didn’t have enough money to pay the fare.

Less than 30 seconds later, Hawa Sakho whipped out a gun. She trained it on the 28-year-old driver and demanded his cell phone and cash.

“The girl, she was crazy. She was acting so ghetto and all this stuff. She lives on the Upper East Side,” he said.

The cabbie turned over his phone and was thanked with a punch in the head from Sakho’s boyfriend, Dean Ruslia, cops said.

Cops charged Sakho with robbery, menacing and weapons possession. Ruslia was charged with robbery and assault.
