Police arrest ‘Bull’ hit activist

- Thomas Tracy

COPS HAVE arrested the environmental activist who poured blue paint on the Financial District’s iconic “Charging Bull” statue, police said Friday.

Courtney Fallon, 33, was charged with making graffiti and criminal mischief for pouring paint over the bull’s head around 6 a.m. Thursday.

Police had the bull cleaned up by 9 a.m. Thursday.

Fallon, who lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, freely admitted to marring the statue, claiming that the blue paint represented “rising sea levels” in the wake of President Trump’s decision to back out of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Fallon noted she made the paint out of corn oil and chalk so it could be easily removed.
