KEVIN HART SEXTORTION TAPE
Comic says ‘sorry’ after cheat vid surfaces
KEVIN HART’S marriage just fell on hard times.
The actor appears to admit to cheating on his pregnant wife in an Instagram post Saturday night, explaining that someone had targeted him for “financial gain” because of his mistakes.
“I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes,” Hart said.
TMZ reports the “Get Hard” actor was caught in an extortion attempt for a “sexually suggestive” video with another woman, who was not immediately identified.
The 38-year-old comic confessed to a “bad error of judgement” in the Instagram video and apologized to his wife, Eniko Parrish, and his two children from a previous marriage.
“It’s a s----y moment where you know you’re wrong. There’s no excuses for your behavior,” Hart said.
Hart had previously indirectly denied accusations that he cheated on Parrish in July, a month shy of their first wedding anniversary. He was pictured in a vehicle with a mystery woman.
“#LiveLoveLaught... SMDH (Shaking My Damn Head),” Hart wrote on Instagram.
Hart’s wife is about 31 weeks pregnant, according to an Instagram post she shared Friday.
On Wednesday, Parrish shared a photo of hubby Hart nuzzling against her pregnant belly.
Hart, a Philadelphia native, has two children with ex-wife Torrei Hart.
TMZ reports that a woman has been demanding hush money after filming a “sexually suggestive” video with Hart, noting that the footage was not a sex tape.
Hart’s reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment but told the celebritynews site that law enforcement is involved with the failed extortion attempt.
Hart, who struggled early in his career as a standup, is now one of the highest-paid comedians in Hollywood and boasts a net worth of $120 million after roles in “The Secret Life of Pets” and “Ride Along 2.”
Between June 2015 and June 2016, he earned $87.5 million — good for sixth place on Forbes’ richest-celebrities list.
Hart also co-stars in the “Jumanji” remake due out in December.
